Lily Allen Designs Lucy In Disguise Collection Inspired By Favorite Vintage Pieces

Lily Allen Designs Lucy In Disguise Collection Inspired By Favorite Vintage Pieces

Lucy In Disguise, the vintage store Lily Allen opened with her sister, Sarah Owen, last year (currently being featured in Lily Allen: Riches to Rags documentary) is getting a new vintage items addition. The Lucy In Disguise collection will consist of vintage inspired dresses featuring Lily and Sarah's favorite details from vintage pieces mixed together. If some of the looks seem familiar it's probably because you've seen the originals on Lily, like that sailor suit or the many maxi dresses. This is essentially what Rachel Zoe did with her own vintage inspired collection, although she probably kept some looks too close to the originals.

All of the dresses in Lucy In Disguise collection will have names like Capone, ...

Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 Fashion Film Features 10 Shameless Product Placements

Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 Fashion Film Features 10 Shameless Product Placements

Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 collection was captured on film in video lookbook of sorts by Kalvin Lazarte of Play Nice. Three models having fun, countless Marc Jacobs bags, shoes and clothes, a beautiful hotel and Seventies vibe, what more could you need, right? Well, apparently a lot of product placements.

Of course since the filming takes place at the James Hotel in New York, a clear shot of the hotel logo is acceptable and even somewhat expected. However, nine additional and quite obvious product placements bring us to a total of ten product placements in a three minutes time span. This Marc Jacobs lookbook pretty much paid for itself in the first few seconds with a nice, clear shot of an ...

Shao Yen Fall 2011 Collection Debuts Fur And Crystals

Shao Yen Fall 2011 Collection Debuts Fur And Crystals

Sha Yen presented his Fall 2011 collection during London Fashion Week, showing his incredible development as a designer over the year. Last year's Fall 2010 collection was highly conceptual - all white nylon fibers creating the illusion of fur got him noticed and featured in Dazed & Confused. Fall 2011 is much more versatile.

For his Fall 2011 collection, Shao Yen used wool, fur and crystal jewelry elements and left out the nylon yarns he's been doing for the past two seasons, thus creating much more wearable and functional looks. Be it the saffron knit dress, the navy cropped sweater or the crystal jewelry vest, they are all pieces a girl would love to have in her wardrobe.

Shao-Yen Chen is ...

Lacoste + Malandrino Spring 2011 Collection Means Serious Sporty Leisure Business

Lacoste + Malandrino Spring 2011 Collection Means Serious Sporty Leisure Business

Lacoste + Malandrino collaboration was announced last fall, just before Fashion's Night Out and now the first collection is finally here. Due to reach Lacoste, Malandrino and saks.com stores in April, the collection gives Lacoste's signature relax styles a touch of femininity. Here we will find sheer modified polo shirts, maxi skirts, harem pants and pleat minis.

Lacoste's logo, the crocodile, got a makeover too. The all familiar crocodile got himself a yellow partner in crime. On each Lacoste + Malandrino piece, the logo is green and yellow crocodiles kissing. If only for that, it's worth getting at least a polo shirt. But you'll have your chance - the collaboration will run for three more seasons.

This was the first ...

Rodarte For Opening Ceremony Spring 2011 Collection Launch And Lookbook

The highly anticipated Rodarte For Opening Ceremony collection collaboration was launched today. A very striking and colorful look book featuring Laura Love, photographed by Autumn de Wilde is accompanying the collection launch.

Rodarte For Opening Ceremony Spring 2011 collection is loosely based on Rodarte's signature Spring 2011 collection - undoubtedly pieces like pleated skirts or draped dresses will look familiar.

The lowest priced items in the collection are the tattoo tights - retailing for $110, then we have sunglasses at the $220 - $255 range, shoes and bags priced at $680 to $1,035 and all the way up to $2,730 for ...

Kirsten Dunst In Boy By Band Of Outsiders Spring 2011 Lookbook

Kirsten Dunst In Boy By Band Of Outsiders Spring 2011 Lookbook

Kirsten Dunst once again posed for a Boy By Band Of Outsiders. This time for Boy By Band Of Outsiders Spring 2011 look book. She has previously done so back in Spring 2009 as well. The concept is pretty much Dunst being her cool self, walking around the Huntington Botanical Gardens in Pasadena, California. Scott Sternberg, the designer, took the polaroids himself.

Accessorized with Illesteva sunglasses and gold canvas saddle oxfords, Dunst and the look book are the epitome of indie hipster cool. I could look for more words to describe how cool it is, but really, just take my word for it. It's cool.

David Koma for Topshop Capsule Collection

David Koma for Topshop Capsule Collection

David Koma's monochrome, futuristic and geometric collections he regularly shows at London Fashion Week are pop-star favorites. You've seen his looks on the likes of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue and Cheryl Cole. And now you'll get the chance to own a David Koma as well, David Koma For Topshop that is.

The David Koma for Topshop capsule collection is comprised of five pieces. At the count of only thirty of each piece, this is probably one of the most limited-edition and expensive collections Topshop produced so far. As Koma's designs are highly structural and involve metal piping details the pieces come at a high price. The cheapest David Koma For Topshop item you can get is the belt with metal-tubes detail ...

Swedish Hasbeens For H&M Collaboration Brings Back The Clog

Swedish Hasbeens For H&M Collaboration Brings Back The Clog

Thought the clog trend Celine started last year was over? Think again. H&M announced their collaboration with the iconic Swedish Hasbeens shoe label. This spring they'll bring the classic Swedish Hasbeens wooden-sole to the masses.

Swedish Hasbeens For H&M collaboration includes three wooden-soled styles - gladiator style strappy wedges, heeled summer sandals and peep-toe slip-on wedges. What makes this collaboration even better is that the shoes are made from environmentally friendly materials, which is not something you can say often about fast fashion.

When normally you'd have to pay anywhere between $200 and $300 dollars for a Swedish Hasbeens pair wooden-sole sandals, this spring you'll be able to purchase the three styles of Swedish Hasbeens For H&M under $100 dollars.

"These Hasbeens for ...
