B Brian Atwood Fall 2011 Diffusion Line Preview

B Brian Atwood Fall 2011 Diffusion Line Preview

New York Fashion Week is almost upon us and so is the unveiling the Brian Atwood's highly anticipated diffusion line - B Brian Atwood. WWD got a little sneak peek of the forthcoming shoe collection priced significantly lower than Atwood's signature line - a celebrity darling worn by the likes of Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Hudson.

B Brian Atwood, priced at $100 for sandals and the higher $650 for boots (albeit diffusion, this is still a high quality designer line after all), the collection will consist of 35 - 45 styles.

There are already several confirmed retailers that picked up the B Brian Atwood. Saks Fifth Avenue is one of course, and so are Barney's, Fred Segal and

H&M Conscious Collection: Top Ten Items Worth Your Money

H&M Conscious Collection: Top Ten Items Worth Your Money

H&M Conscious Collection hits the stores in what seems right now like a long time - April 14th, but the hype already begins to build up. White shades and minimalistic silhouettes, so on point with both the current New York Spring 2011 trend and the sustainability and organics trend. All at the price range of $10 to $60 - what's not to like?

With such strong emphasis on romantic lace and Broderie Anglaise, not all pieces are as stylish as one would hope them to be. Some cross the barrier of coolness into the Little-House-On-The-Prairie territory. But others, like the clean and crisp looking blazers at $50 a piece, are just waiting for you to grab them off the rack. ...

David Koma for Topshop Capsule Collection

David Koma for Topshop Capsule Collection

David Koma's monochrome, futuristic and geometric collections he regularly shows at London Fashion Week are pop-star favorites. You've seen his looks on the likes of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue and Cheryl Cole. And now you'll get the chance to own a David Koma as well, David Koma For Topshop that is.

The David Koma for Topshop capsule collection is comprised of five pieces. At the count of only thirty of each piece, this is probably one of the most limited-edition and expensive collections Topshop produced so far. As Koma's designs are highly structural and involve metal piping details the pieces come at a high price. The cheapest David Koma For Topshop item you can get is the belt with metal-tubes detail ...

Elle Fanning Stars In ‘The Curve of Forgotten Things’ – Rodarte’s New Short Film

Elle Fanning Stars In ‘The Curve of Forgotten Things’ – Rodarte’s New Short Film

As the fashion film trend continues, a new short film by Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy and the director Todd Cole is in the works. "The Curve of Forgotten Things" - called the film, starring the young actress Elle Fanning and featuring, of course, Rodarte Spring 2011 collection looks.

"It’s inspired by Northern California, and the Seventies," tells Cole to WWD and it is of course what the Mulleavy sisters said of their Spring 2011 collection. He continues, "it’s about this girl who exists in this strange place outside of time. She’s digging up things from the land and the past, and she offers them to the sun."

Interestingly enough, "The Curve of Forgotten Things" will exclusively debut on LVMH's ...

Stella Tennant In Céline Spring 2011 Campaign

Stella Tennant In Céline Spring 2011 Campaign

Stella Tennant appears in Céline Spring 2011 campaign alongside Daria Werbowy, both photographed by Juergen Teller. The raven-haired Tennant is a stark contrast to Werbowy both in looks and in styling in this campaign. She got to be more chic and definitely less sporty. If in one shot Werbowy is holding a skateboard and wears nothing but loose pants, Tennant wears a loosely tailored black jumpsuit holding a classic Céline bag.

Does Banned YSL Belle D’Opium Ad Put You In A Mood For Intravenous Opiates?

Does Banned YSL Belle D’Opium Ad Put You In A Mood For Intravenous Opiates?

Yves Saint Laurent's Belle D'Opium fragrance ad featuring the sultry French actress Melanie Thierry as Belle engaging in an ecstatic dance was banned in the UK.

Why, you ask? Apparently, UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) thought that "Belle running her finger down her inner arm could be seen to simulate the injection of opiates into the body". The ASA continue, "We were also concerned that following that scene, Belle was shown moving in a series of short, rapid scenes, before the ad concluded with her body seizing upwards while lying on the floor, an action we considered could be seen to simulate the effect of drugs on the body."

Akram Khan, the choreographer who developed the moves, strongly disagrees. Specifically, the finger ...

H&M Goes Sustainable With Conscious Collection

H&M Goes Sustainable With Conscious Collection

H&M finally hopped on the sustainability and organics trend and created what is dubbed the Conscious Collection. Fast fashion in itself is not a good thing for the environment - it creates tremendous waste and garbage - so when a fast fashion company attempts to undo some of that I welcome it.

Last month, H&M did some recycling with their mini-collection of pieces made of Lanvin For H&M scraps, but it wasn't nearly as cute as the Conscious Collection white minimalist and romantic dresses, tops and skirts.

Playing into the white minimalist New York Spring 2011 runway trend, Conscious Collection offers pieces in light neutral colors, draped or embroidered with Broderie Anglaise or embellished with frills or romantic lace. All made ...

Bold Color And Prints In Vogue Australia March 2011 ‘Viva La Revolucion’ Editorial

Alina Baikova was photographed by Nicole Bentley for Vogue Australia March 2011 'Viva La Revolucion' editorial. Baikova is depicted having a blast, traveling the streets of Mexico, wearing looks by Prada, Stella McCartney, Gucci, Giambattista Valli, Bally and Mulberry.

Bold bight colors, print mixology and color-blocking are the trends to embrace this spring. Perhaps not in New York, where everyone suddenly discovered the color white and minimalism, but definitely so if you were to take cue from Milan and London Spring 2011 runways.

Be it a Stella McCartney citrus print or the much talked about Prada monkeys and bananas. Bally and Gucci's color blocking or the simply chic canary yellow Giambattista Valli maxi - there's something for everyone in this celebration of ...

Kate Moss And Lea T On Additional Love Magazine Covers Of Androgyny Issue

A few weeks ago Love Magazine unveiled the first cover version of their forthcoming Androgyny issue's. On the cover? Kate Moss and Lea T embracing each other with a kiss. Doesn't get more explosive than that.

Love Magazine's Androgyny issue will include two more covers - single shot images of Kate Moss and Lea T - also photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.
